** My 1st Birthday!!! **
** Meet My New Friends **
My name is Squeekers. I was found abandoned in a box on my
owner's patio
on Saturday April 1st, 2000. Since my eyes were just begining to open it seems
that
I was most likely born about one week before on March 25th.
Anyway, my new owner saw that I was
cold and hungry and took me in and fixed up a nice
warm box for me to sleep in. Later he went to the pet store and got me some
yummy
milk formula which I really like.
Now I am 5 weeks old and growing like
a weed. I am box trained now and even eating some
solid food. One of my favorite things to eat is Iams canned chicken food
especially for
pre-weaned kittys like me. Oh I still get a bottle of milk now and then but
soon I'll
be a big kitty and eating solid food.
I don't know what happened to my real
momma although my owner tells me he sees her
around the neighborhood from time to time. I don't get out much because I'm so
little
so I haven't been able to look around for her myself
In the picture above I am sitting on
my new house with my friend Heartly. He's a big furry
puppy that I like to play with. I have a lot of new friends like Happy Rat and
my
Bungie Dog. My favorite toy to play with is a riding crop which has a little
leather hand on the end of it. Geeez I can't imagine where my
owner got that thing, but it sure is fun to play with.
When my owner goes out I like to
sleep on the couch all wrapped up in a blanket with my
friend Happy Rat. When he comes home I get to play a bit and then I get my
dinner.
Then after, it's nap time and I get to snuggle up with my new daddy. Then he
plays with
me after my nap and then it's time to go to sleep. I like sleeping right next
to my
new daddy where it's nice and warm. One night he almost rolled over on
me but when I squeeked, he picked me up out of the way.
